Dysmennorhea: You are obviously having painful periods or dysmennorhea. This is one of the reasons to have a Mirena (levonorgestrel) IUD besides birth control. If you are not planning on becoming pregnant you may want to consider it again vs birth control pills that work similarly. Check with your doctor for treatment.
