So a woman's egg is viable 12-24 hrs after ovulation? so intercourse the day after ovulation is fine to try to conceive?

Yes: Inside a woman's body, sperm can live for up to five days depending on the conditions. If you have unprotected sex even a few days before your partner ovulates, there is a chance of achieving a pregnancy.

Sure: Having sex for up to 24 hours after ovulation greatly increases the possibility of conception. When trying to conceive it is effective to begin having sex at least every other day starting several days before ovulation and continuing to have sexual relations until after ovulation. Good luck.
