Stress and emotions: Sometimes the emotional stress of the situation, or the release of the brain chemicals associated with stress or strong emotions, can lead to headache. If you have migraines they may be triggered. Or, the headache may just be a 'muscle tension' headache, again from stress. Nothing to worry about unless it just won't go away.
