Depends on the type: The pull-out method is one of the least effective methods for preventing pregnancy. It is slightly better than no method. The problem is that pre-ejaculate contains potent sperm. Some BCPs require you to take them at the same time every day for efficacy. Consult the physician who prescribed your contraceptive pills.

Not very likely: Your risk of pregnancy is pretty low if you are taking birth control pills every day (and not missing days) and also using the pull-out method. If you take your birth control pill every day, even if it isn't at the same time, you should be protected. Best wishes!
