Yes: If you are prescribed antibiotics postoperatively, you may want to ask if the antibiotic prescribed can or will affect your oral contraceptive.

Yes: Yes, continue taking your bcp's but all antibiotics can block contraceptives, so if they were prescribed then you need to use a barrier contraceptive for the rest of your menstral cycle.
