Possible bleeding: When you begin taking a birth control pill and then stop your body may "think" that it is time to have your period. It may take a cycle to begin to have your period at its usual time. But you should not feel ill in general after this. If you do need birth control, however, you should consider trying again as you might have not felt comfortable for another reason

A little: When you discontinue Seasonale (or any birth-control pill) in the middle of the pack, it may make you feel pre-menstrual and give you a period or some spotting. Best wishes!

Not really: May take a cycle for things to go back to where they were. Interesting choice for woman with acne. Most likely the progestin in this pill levonorgestrel too strong for you. Good in that it helps to limit breakthrough bleeding (bleeding when you should not bleed), but can be tough to tolerate for some women. Discuss with gyn less androgenic progestin pill. They will understand. Best of luck Dr R
