Yes: Your body knows you shouldn't become pregnant when you are under severe stress so it can sometimes keep you from ovulating. When you don't ovulate for several months you won't have a period. Eventually you will start to have irregular and sometimes heavy bleeding. If your lack of regular periods persists for more than a few months, you should see your Gyn. Best wishes!
