Dysfunct bleeding: What we call dysfunctional uterine bleeding is bleeding that occurs at times when you should not be having your period. MANY causes. If no other symptoms, normally recommend wait 1-2 cycles and see if normal cycles return. If so, no worries. If abnormal pattern of bleeding continues, need gyn eval to sort out why. Hope this helps.
