See below: Mood swings can vary from severe mood shifts (happy-sad), to experiencing mild irritability, etc. One of the ways to deal with them is monitor events that lead to mood swings -- keeping a journal helps with establishing patterns and events. You would have to give yourself space -- maybe do something you enjoy, make yourself a list of things to do when experiencing mood swings. Counseling will help.
