CORTIZONE (hydrocortisone) CREAM: Cortizone (hydrocortisone) is a steroid cream. It is not and cannot be used as an anti fungal cream. You can only treat a low grade surface fungal infection with a fungal cream.

Steroid cream: No, cortisone 10 is a low potency over the counter 1% hydrocortisone cream. It has no anti fungal properties. It may make some fungal infections initially better because it will decrease some inflammation and itch but shouldn't be used for more than 2 weeks without the direction of a physician.
