TMJ: This sound like you may have inflammation in your temporomandibular joint. This can sometimes be hard to treat. It is usually caused by grinding your teeth at night. See your Dentist for treatment.

Probably lymph node: There are lymph nodes in that area, called 'preauricular nodes.' They swell in response to infection/inflammation in the area. If you have pain in your ear as well, you might have an infection in your ear canal. Have your doctor or local urgent care take a look. Nothing to worry too much about, but if infected antibiotics should help.

Swelling: May be a lymph node but could also be swelling of your parotid gland or your jaw joint. Warm compresses and ibuprofen can help but you should check it out asap
