Culture?: I would follow up with the physician who wrote for the cipro- I wonder if a culture and sensitivities were done on your urine and if it was adequately treated. Sometimes a different antibiotic or a longer course are necessary- be seen and good luck!

Utis: See your doctor to see if a culture and sensitivity were done and to re evaluate the diagnosis. Utis often respond well to ciprofloxacin so after 7 days you need a recheck.

Resistant : It is possible your UTI is resistant to cipro (ciprofloxacin).A urine culture may help on which antibiotics would help.Best wishes.
