It is OK: But make sure that you only eat fresh sour cream as spoiled sour cream could cause significant problems.

Why not?: Almost any kind of milk product (if you tolerate milk) contains Calcium and can help your bones and those of your baby to get and stay strong. Furthermore, probiotics (healthy bacteria found in all sour creams, yogurt, kefir etc) will help you with digestion and could help the pregnancy in other ways. Probably best to avoid raw milk products (home made from unpasteurized milk) however.
