Not usually.: Dark brown blood can occur for many reasons other than infection. Usually an infection is associated with other symptoms such as: -foul smelling discharge -profuse watery, discharge -pain with sex -severe itching Any unusual bleeding should be investigated with a pregnancy test if pregnancy is possible.
