Probably: Gardasil is very, very effective at protecting against infection with 4 specific sub-types of HPV - the 4 most common problematic strains. It also gives some cross protection against other similar strains of HPV. Your chances for contracting HPV (oral or genital) are lessened due to the vaccine. The likelihood of getting a cancer from HPV will be quite low - nut not zero.

Not necessarily: It is a great start, if you complete the series, but there are no guarantees in life.The newest Gardasil contains material for 2 wart and 7 cancer associated strains. As we remove them from the scene there may be other strains that trigger cancer, time will tell. You may acquire a strain not currently tested for or in the vaccines. Just keep educating yourself & be aware of changes in your body.
