Is this true? i keep coming across this, "100 steps backward walking is equivalent to 1,000 steps forward walking." but, it sounds to good to be true.

Probably folklore: The bottom line is that it does have some benefits to walk backwards. It helps burns calories, helps with balance, and reduces strain on your hips. There are some who state that you burn more calories. So overall it is beneficial to walk backwards during your routine but not sure 100 steps equals a 1000 steps
