Hematoma: sometimes after trauma you are left with a large bruise called a hematoma Usually these bruises spread out and you're left with large purple the brown green discolorations Sometimes the bruises are large and they stay collected and get liquidy If it's not enlarging or very tender then would treat it with compression(pressure) such as ace bandage. consult your doctor if really concerned

Walking?: Are you able to walk without difficulty? This can be some inflammation which can get better with ice and time. However, I think you should have a doc look at it since it can be something a little more dangerous like a fracture (unlikely if you are walking fine). Try to see your MD but in the times being, work on icing it as much as you can. Good luck.
