Elbow pain: Just because you can move something doesn't mean it isn't damaged. You certainly traumatised it ranging from a simple contusion to a fracture. The best thing to do especially if you are worried id=s to go have trained hands evaluate it and determine how injured it is. Seek medical evaluation.

Don;t put pressure: Please don't put pressure on the elbow. The elbow and me are saying not to do that. Better is a cold pack(not ice unless it is in a baggie with water), a sling, rest and if no better in a few days a trip to your doctor

Bruise.: Hi, Possible trauma to the bone/ligament/muscle/tendon. It might take a few days or weeks for the pain to completely resolve. Try cold compress, OTC pain killers. If pain persists after one week, have it evaluated with an X-ray to rule out fracture.
