Thigh pain running: You may be experiencing iliotibial band syndrome. Rest ice elevation stretching may help as may Kinesiotape. Bone problems can be cause, less likely. If it persists > 1 week see a sports orthopedist . Overpronation,low arches exacerbate the stress. Overexertion and suboptimal body alignment/mechanics are major contributors to musculoskeletal pain. If fever unable to walk go to ER
