BF infertile: The ex may have been infertile. Until he is tested, i would use birth control unless you want to become pregnant.

Hard to say: It takes two to make it work and he could have fertility issues.His ex might have them also. He might want to have some basic studies done through his doc or someone his doc can refer him to.If he seems to have all the right stuff, you start the relationship with more info than most.
