Cold/allergies: Most likely you may not need any medications. Oral Benadryl (diphenhydramine) is the only approved medication you may try. The dose is 1/2 teaspoon every 6-8 hourly if needed, in that frequency. It will typically make him drowsy. Nasal saline approved for babies may be tried.
