Why on PPI?: The first question I would ask is why are you taking a PPI? PPIs essentially elimate stomach acidity but do not prevent ongoing reflux of stomach contents and there may be a structural problem such as an esophageal hernia that was causing the reflux or more rarely an esophageal stricture. Either way, if your are experiencing weight loss due to early satiety, you should see a gastroenterologist.
