I was bit by a dog. i was given rabies vacination. and my tt (tetanus) injection was delayed by 48 hours. i did get 2 tt in last 3 month. scared help?

Protected: Two tetanus vaccinations 3 months prior to a dirty puncture wound such as a dog bite should offer adequate protection against tetanus despite delay in administering additional vaccine after the injury. However, monitoring for local wound infection is wise.

You are safe: You are well protected against rabies and tetanus .Delay in getting tetanus injection would cause any problem ,because your 2 tetanus injection given in last 3 months are giving ou protection against tetanus .Hope this will help you
