Not sure: "Orange" is not usually the color associated with periods. Menstrual bleeding can be light pink, pink tinged, bright red, or brownish. It is not clear from your question if the orange color was in the water and may be from urine, associated with stool, or from a vaginal source. I would suggest seeing your family doctor to be evaluated since you have not yet had a period at 16 yrs old.
