Allergic reaction?: It is possible to have an allergic reaction to cream / suppositories (if that was what you used). This can cause swelling and pain. Go back to the doctor and get checked again.

Vag infection: You could have a mixed infection or not the right treatment for the type of infection. See your gyno.
