No.: Sciatica is caused by a herniated disc that impinges in the nerve roots of the Lumbar Spine. Sciatica is a condition where the Sciatic nerve is irritated and the patient describes this pain which is constant and radiates from the lower back to the foot, the patient describes the pain as a pull or a burning sensation. Patient also might referred that when walking she might noticed the leg gives up
