Heartburn: Could be gastritis or gastric ulcer. Eliminating alcohol, caffiene, peppermint, citrus fruits could help with former, the later would require a workup.

Dyspepsia: It could be irritation of the stomach lining from an ulcer, something you ate / medication you take or stress. Try ranitidine 75 mg twice a day for 2 weeks. If that doesn't help then see your doctor. Also take a probiotic daily to help with gas.
