Patience.: Implants are used for long term contraception. The medication used is meant to cause a disruption in your bodies normal hormonal pattern. It may take weeks to months to get your period and even longer to restore your normal hormonal pattern. Unless you are having significant side effects give it at least 2 months. Follow up with your physician as needed. Good luck.
