Eat healthy...: Congratulations on the pregnancy. The best way to keep the baby healthy is to make sure you are taking care of yourself - eat a healthy balanced diet, take your prenatal vitamins and avoid alcohol/smoking. If you don't use this time as an excuse to eat anything and everything then excess weight gain should not be an issue. Take care

Eat healthy!: Eat a healthy, well-balanced diet and continue your exercise program. Walking is great exercise This is not the time to go on a restricted calorie diet or to begin training for a marathon. You can expect to gain around 10 pounds before 20 weeks (half a pound a week), and another 20 pounds after 20 weeks (1 pound a week). Make plans to breast feed for a healthy baby and weight loss! Regards!
