No specific number: We are all diferent. Some people go once a day , twice a day , every other day, every three days and so forth . By Now i Think you should know what a normal bowel movement pattern is for you.

Bowel movements/day: 3 would be considered normal, 4 is frequent but on the lower side of abnormal. May be of no major significance if no abdominal symptoms such as abdominal pain/bloody diarrhea, bloating is present. Also, if the stools are formed and not runny, may be normal.
