Brown spotting: Is consistent with the onset of a period. You will probably see red blood flow in a day or two. If this is the case, ur period isn't late. It's just a little lighter in the first day than ur accustomed to. That's not cause for concern. If you do not ultimately keep bleeding and have an otherwise normal period, give a ring to your PCP or OB/GYN . Good luck & stay well.
