Can't tell for sure.: Your symptoms may or may not be due to the Mirena (levonorgestrel) coil. Abdominal pain that does not go away always needs to be checked out by a medical professional. If you have had the coil for a long time it is less likely the pain is related to the coil (but not impossible). Abdominal pain, especially with fever, discharge, vomiting can be serious and need urgent evaluation. Call or see your doc pronto.

Pain: How long have you had the Mirena (levonorgestrel)? Are you symptoms time related to the insertion?-if so, call you doc for evaluation. If you have had the Mirena (levonorgestrel) awhile, maybe something else going on resulting in your symptoms (?bowel)-see you doctor either way.
