Breakthrough: Sounds as if there is some instability in your uterine lining that's causing bleeding before your period and then bleeding afterward, Typically controlled by estrogen and progesterone, the 2 hormones made by your ovaries. You can try some ibuprofen (600-800mg) to help with cramping. In order to regulate your cycle, may want to consider birth control pills. Hope that helps!
