What is going on? got my period six days early, but it was the normal 5 day length, after period, had nausea & cramp. now bleeding again, brown & red

Breakthrough: Sounds as if there is some instability in your uterine lining that's causing bleeding before your period and then bleeding afterward, Typically controlled by estrogen and progesterone, the 2 hormones made by your ovaries. Infection?: You need to be examined, and have blood or urine tests. Do not have sexual activity until you are reassured by a physician.
