Sperm is mobile.: Although the most effective way to promote conception is to have the sperm as close to the cervical os, remember that sperm is motile and can live in the vaginal vault for several days. Therefore sperm anywhere in the vagina can potentially cause pregnancy. If pregnancy is not wanted use protection. Good luck.
