A member asked:

Can tessalon perle and benadryl (diphenhydramine) be taken at same time?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Do you need both?: Benadryl, (diphenhydramine) an antihistamine, is for treating allergies. Treat your allergies and you may stop the coughing. If stopping the allergies doesn't stop the cough, and if your Doctor prescribes them, Tessalon perles, an antitussive, may be used to stop your cough. But don't borrow other people's medicine!
