No: Same thing. Prunes are dried plums.

Prune juice is only: Made from specific european plums. Not all types of plums are dried to make prune juice. In 2001 the fda made prunes more marketable by changing the term prunes to dried plums. The types of plums used to make prune juice has a higher fiber content then seen in other plums.
