Yellow mucus: Certainly your body is putting up a fight - and that's a good thing. When this happens, mucus can change from clear to other colors. Inflammatory cells are busy fighting bacteria (and sometimes viruses) and the 'dead soldiers' will be left behind as a pus-like material -- hence 'yellow snot'. Good to try and keep this stuff coming out. Hydrating well will help your body get rid of this stuff.
