A member asked:

Is too much alpha lipoic acid a risk for heart attacks?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No: Anna, alpha lipoic acid is an important participant in many metabolic processes in your body. There has never been a reliable study linking alpha lipoic acid to either heart disease or cancer. That being said, too much of anything is not good. Take in moderation. Hope this helps!
