Need more info.: Many animals can bite and/or sting. It depends on location, time of day and season, and environment. In the United States, bat bites are very uncommon. With any puncture wound, whether by bite or sting, clean the area and be sure your tetanus immunization is up to date. Keeping the area clean and watching for signs of infection is important afterwards. Serious reaction? Get medical care.
