Don't know what: the size is of this lesion. Cysts can certainly occur in that area. it sounds like there are multiple lesions. I would just go ahead and get it checked out. It could be something fairly benign but can't really visualize it that well from description. I would play it safe and get eval to ensure you don't have an infection.
