Exam if not better: If these pains don't clear up by tomorrow, see a provider for an exam and perhaps treatment. If it does clear up you still might want an opinion of what happened. Did it ever happen before? Was this unusually 'rough' sex? If so, perhaps you should talk about it and be more gentle in the future. Hope it's just a bump in the sexual highway. Drive safely!

New or recurring?: Is this an isolated or recurring problem? If this is an isolated episode, and you don't have a condition like endometriosis, inflammatory bowel disease like ulcerative colitis, or problem with local nerves, then no need to worry. Any bleeding or abnormal stooling? If symptoms persist, or you are worried, it would help to be evaluated by your primary medical or gynecologic specialist.
