A member asked:

I wake up every morning with a pain in upper right quadrant when i move but when being pressed on, it is not sore or tender. gallbladder?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not likely: Certainly, RUQ pain, even atypical, could be a sign of gallbladder disease, but this is so nonspecific I'm not overly concerned. Now, if you tell me fatty foods accentuate RUQ pain, with nausea and bloating, it would be worth investigating. Speak to your doctor. Good luck.
