Can anxiety cause pins and needles and constant body pain? i suffer from anxiety everyday.

Hyperventilation: Pins and needles, especially to the hands, certainly can occur due to hyperventilation, which often occurs with anxiety. The body pain I am not so sure about, though. Talk to your doctor who is prescribing your xanax (alprazolam). You could also see a functional medicine or integrative medicine doctor to try to find the root causes of all of your symptoms.

Anxiety: Anxiety or worry is a psychological & physiological state characterized by somatic, cognitive, emotional & behavioral features. It signifies fear/concern/unpleasant sensations/ dread. It causes restlessness, fatigue, muscle tension & concentration difficulties. It is considered a normal reaction to a stressor, unless it interferes with daily functioning or causes significant distress, as in panic.
