During hormones therapy for ivf left ovary produced 5 follicles, only 1 survived, the right ovary did not produce good ones although its healthy. why?

Age: Age is most likely the factor in poor ovarian response to stimulation. The amount of antral follicles decrease as one gets older. No matter how much medication you use the number of follicles that can grow each month is predetermined. This occurs almost a year prior to the stimulated cycle.
