Probably not: Better to take the medication closer to the event and use cognitive strategies for now.

Depends: If you have had a problem with benzo's in the past then be very careful about any use of this drug. If not, then use it a day or two early to help anxiety. DO NOT take excessive amounts of this medication. It has a long half life and is highly addictive. Have a plan for stopping or taking another drug in its stead. Discuss with your doctor
