What happens if no chemo .. what is it like for someone to die from lung cancer?

Comfort care time: If someone has advanced lung cancer and treatment is not an option, then the focus should be on making sure any symptoms they have or may develop will be controlled. Hospice may be an option. End stage lung cancer patients may experience shortness of breath or pain (in the chest or other sites where the cancer has spread). There may be constipation from pain medications/lack of appetite.
