See below.: All antibiotics have many potention side effects and toxicities. Ceftazidime is a cephalosporin antibiotic. The most common side effects are nausia, vomitting, diarrhea and allergic reactions. In general cephalosporin antibiotics are well tolerated and are safe to take during pregnancy.
