Partially normal: Low BUN is normal. There's no lower limit of normal. Low INR is also normal unless he's on an anticoagulant medicine. Low potassium is not normal. The causes are: diuretics, diarrhea, vomiting, ng drainage, XS alcohol use, XS laxative use, or adrenal hyperplasia/adenoma with excess aldosterone production. If he's truly below the lower limit of normal, that should be investigated.
