A member asked:

What is bertilium drug they had as a last resort but never used?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Bertylium: There is no drug bertillium, but if you mean bertylium than this was a drug that was used for people in cardiac arrest with ventricular tachycardia or ventricular fibrillation. No longer in ACLS guidelines as had limited data on its effectiveness and was associated with toxicity. Was replaced with amiodarone.
