Manage the acne: If topical benzoyl peroxide as tolerated has not cleared you in two weeks, get with your personal physician who can add prescription-strength Rx. It is not pleasant, especially if your skin tends to be dry already, but it is the mainstay of most treatment regimens short of isotretinoin.
